- Do I have to take contents cover?

When storing with Storebox, we do require you to have insurance. We offer unit cover ranging from up to £4k – up to £25k to insure your contents.
We understand you may already have insurance ie home or business, that covers external storage. Your personal insurance will have to be in line with the storage regulations and proof will have to be sent via email within the first 7 days of you storing with us.
- How much is contents cover?

We offer 4 different brackets of unit cover:
- Up to £4k cover is £3.99 per week
- Up to £8k cover is £5.99 per week
- Up to £12k cover is £8.99 per week
- Up to £25k cover is £10.99 per week

- What if I have my own insurance?

- If I update my declared goods value, does my insurance change?

If you update your declared goods value via the Online Check In form (https://secure.storebox.co.uk/onlinecheckin/) or by email, this will be updated on your account. We can advise you of the higher cover options we offer but it is your responsibility to increase your cover if needed.
